International Culture & Event Centre (The Dome)

Sitting on 33,000 hectares of land, the International Culture and Event Centre (The Dome), Akure houses three different domes of 2,000 capacity each, a gallery, show rooms, night club, function centres, meeting rooms and other amenities that can qualify any dome in the world as being of international standards.

The acoustic configurations of the Dome is automated to oscillate with the rhythm and vibration of the sound billowing out of the instruments in use to produce harmonious music and speech.

The Ondo state government partnered with Alpha Mead Development Company in 2018 to upgrade, provide FM services and operate this facility under a PPP agreement.
