Mutiu Sunmonu, CON

Group Chairman

Mutiu Sunmonu is a distinguished business leader and technocrat with over three decades of exceptional leadership in the global energy sector. A First Class Honours graduate in Computer Science from the University of Lagos, he rose to become the Managing Director of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), where he steered strategic operations and championed innovations in engineering and corporate governance.

Beyond his illustrious career in the energy industry, Mr. Sunmonu serves as Chairman of the Boards of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and Coronation Insurance Plc, where his strategic insights continue to shape corporate growth and sustainability.

His contributions to national development have been recognised with numerous accolades, including the prestigious Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) conferred by the Federal Republic of Nigeria, multiple honorary doctorate degrees, and Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Engr. Femi Akintunde

Group Managing Director

Engr. Femi Akintunde is a seasoned executive and industrial engineer with a distinguished career spanning leadership roles across multiple sectors, including facility management, banking, oil and gas, and manufacturing. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Ibadan, a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Port Harcourt, and has completed the Executive Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

Femi’s professional journey includes transformative leadership as Managing Director of Alpha Mead Facilities, where he drove operational excellence and business expansion. He previously served as Deputy General Manager at United Bank for Africa (UBA), Infrastructure Services Manager at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), and Head of Corporate Technical, Planning & Supply Chain Coordination at Nestlé Foods.

His outstanding contributions have earned him prestigious recognitions, including the Worthy Ambassador Award at the University of Ibadan’s 70th Anniversary Alumni celebrations and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2013.

With a proven track record of strategic vision and operational leadership, Engr. Femi Akintunde continues to shape sustainable business growth and innovation across the Alphamead Group.

Engr. Dada Thomas

Engr. Dada Thomas is a highly respected energy executive with over 44 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, spanning technical, operational, and leadership roles in Nigeria and abroad. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical & Polymer Engineering from Loughborough University of Technology, UK, and is a registered engineer in both Nigeria and Alberta, Canada.

His professional career includes 21 years with the Shell Group in Nigeria and the Netherlands, where he contributed to major operational and strategic projects. He later became the Founding CEO and Managing Director of Frontier Oil Limited, establishing himself as a pioneer in indigenous oil and gas entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

An influential voice in the industry, Engr. Thomas has served as President of the Nigeria Gas Association and is a strong advocate for local content development and the growth of Nigeria’s gas sector. His expertise and passion continue to drive innovation and sustainable progress in the country’s energy landscape.

Demola Onanuga

Demola Onanuga is an accomplished business leader with a diverse career spanning pharmaceuticals, finance, and engineering services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and an MBA from the University of Wales, Cardiff, equipping him with a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic management skills.

He currently serves as Executive Vice Chairman of Bolton Projects and Executive Director at Basscomm Group. His earlier career included notable roles at the Central Bank of Nigeria and Pfizer Products Plc, where he contributed to operational excellence, market expansion, and corporate growth.

With a proven track record in corporate strategy and business development, Demola Onanuga has consistently driven innovation and results across multiple sectors. His leadership continues to strengthen AMF’s governance framework and strategic direction

Wole Olufore

Managing Director, AMF

Wole Olufore is a results-driven business executive with a strong track record of leadership, strategic growth, and operational excellence. He holds an MBA from Southampton Solent University and a Bachelor’s degree in English, combining analytical insight with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Before his appointment as Managing Director of AMF, Wole served as Executive Director, Commercial, at Alpha Mead Group, where he played a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and expanding the company’s market footprint.

Recognised for his deep understanding of enterprise systems development and his ability to foster innovation, Wole brings a forward-thinking approach to business management, positioning AMF for sustained success and industry leadership.

Ms. Ajene-Sagna

Ms. Ajene-Sagna is a respected real estate strategist and corporate leader with extensive experience in high-value transactions and market development across West Africa. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), bringing global professional standards to every engagement.

She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Catalyst Realty Solutions (CRS) and formerly served as Head of West Africa at JLL, where she led the landmark $32 million Union Bank transaction. Her career reflects a blend of strategic insight, market expertise, and proven leadership.

Recognised among the leading women in real estate in Nigeria and West Africa, Ms. Ajene-Sagna is also a Senior Fellow at Lagos Business School, where she contributes to strategy development and leadership education.

Engr. Dada Thomas

Victor Udora is an accomplished oil and gas professional with over 34 years of experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams across Nigeria, France, Gabon, Scotland, and the Netherlands. He holds an MBA from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and is a Certified Lead Auditor from Gilberts Associates Institute, London, UK.

During his distinguished career with the Shell Group, Victor held several senior leadership roles, driving operational excellence, technical innovation, and strategic growth. His expertise spans technical leadership, international operations, and stakeholder engagement.

Passionate about advancing the energy sector, community development, and youth mentorship, Victor brings a wealth of global experience and a strong commitment to sustainable progress to the AMF Board.

Chuks Nwasike

Chuks Nwasike is a seasoned legal practitioner with extensive experience in corporate law, policy advisory, and strategic legal frameworks. He holds a Law Degree from the University of Nigeria and is a graduate of the Nigerian Law School, bringing a solid foundation of legal expertise to his work.

An experienced partner in the legal services industry, Chuks has served as a consultant for the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation on the Doing Business Project, providing policy guidance and legal insight to foster business growth and regulatory reform.

With international exposure and a proven track record in client representation, Chuks Nwasike continues to contribute his expertise to strengthening governance and strategic decision-making at AMF.

Oluwande Muoyo

Oluwande Muoyo is an accomplished finance professional and corporate leader with extensive experience spanning the public and private sectors. She has completed executive education in Strategic Marketing Management at Harvard Business School and the Advanced Management Programme at Lagos Business School, equipping her with strong strategic and leadership capabilities.

She served as Commissioner for Finance in Ogun State, where she spearheaded fiscal policy reforms and strengthened financial governance. Her career also includes roles as Non-Executive Director at First Bank of Nigeria, and key positions within FBN Holdings Plc, Stanbic IBTC Bank, and the Ogun State Government.

With proven expertise in governance, policy formulation, and fiscal strategy, Oluwande Muoyo brings valuable insight and financial stewardship to the AMF Board.

Dr. Olufemi Mosuro

Dr. Olufemi Mosuro is a distinguished healthcare leader with extensive experience in both the medical and oil & gas sectors. He completed his FMCA in Anesthesiology Residency at the Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, building a strong foundation in advanced medical practice and leadership.

He is the CEO and Freelance Consultant at Quality Healthcare International Services Ltd and previously served as Chief Medical Director at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), where he led initiatives to enhance occupational health and clinical standards.

With a strong consulting background and a focus on quality healthcare delivery, Dr. Mosuro brings invaluable expertise in governance, policy, and strategic development to the AMHS Board.
